About

A writer, a cook, a traveler.

After growing up in the family catering business, I left home for university and earned a degree in Hotel, Restaurant and Institutional Management. After returning to Winnipeg and the family business,  it didn’t take long for me to start testing and trying new recipes. I decided to combine my interest in creating recipes with my love of writing and wrote Soup – A Kosher Collection – my first kosher cookbook. Just in time for Passover 2010, my second cookbook Passover – A Kosher Collection was published. My third cookbook, Pam’s Cookie Collection is the third book in my collection.

After almost 40 years in the food business, we decided to close in 2019 and I’ve moved on to a great job in the event industry. I continue to test new recipes, fine tune old ones and write them up to share.  I’m starting to think about what to work on for my next book. Thanks for visiting — I hope you enjoy my recipes!

  1. Hey Pamela,
Bureka Boy told me about you and I’m glad he did – you look like you have some interesting (and tasty) things going on…

And thank you for linking to me!

    Cheers,

    • We eat Quinoa in our household about 8 mohtns out of the year starting with Passover and continuing for about 8 mohtns before we move on or forget about it until the next time around! But we’re going to definitely have to try the salad. The picture makes it look so good!

  2. Hi. I am not sure how to contact you directly, but I would like to talk to you about some recipes please. Please let me know how. Thank you in advance
